The short version: TabKeeper stores everything on your own device. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. There are no servers, no accounts, and no tracking.
TabKeeper helps you manage browser tab overload. It can save and restore groups of tabs ("sessions") and automatically archive tabs you haven't used in a while so your browser stays manageable.
To do its job, TabKeeper reads information about your open tabs — specifically the page title and URL of tabs — and the settings you choose (such as your auto-archive time).
TabKeeper lets you export your saved sessions and archived tabs to a file you choose to download. That file is created and saved by you, on your device. TabKeeper has no access to it after it is saved.
You can clear your archived tabs and saved sessions at any time from the extension's settings. Uninstalling TabKeeper removes all of its stored data from your device.
The use of information received from browser APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. TabKeeper uses tab data solely to provide its user-facing tab-management features, does not transfer this data except as required to operate those features on your device, and does not use it for any form of advertising.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date above.
